Alessi MW26/45″Dressed in wood” Tray in Beech With Relief Decoration, Wood Review

The tray is part of the project “Dressed in wood”, designed by Marcel Wanders. A natural material, beech wood is crafted by artisans in Valle Strona, where the production of wooden artifacts is documented as far back as the 16th century. Characterized by knots and veins that make each piece slightly unique, the collection also consists of a cheese board, an individual breakfast board, a serving board, a tray, a cake stand, a domed cover in clear thermoplastic resin with a beech wood knob and a large, round centerpiece.
